Ann Arbor’s Annual Trick or Treat Parade Returns to Main Street!
Join the Festivities on Sunday, October 26, 2025, for Family-Friendly Halloween Fun
Ann Arbor, MI — The Main Street Area Association is thrilled to announce the return of downtown Ann Arbor’s beloved Trick or Treat Parade on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Families, friends, and community members are invited to enjoy a festive afternoon filled with costumes, candy, and Halloween cheer in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor.
Now an annual tradition, this free, family-friendly event brings together more than 30 local businesses, each welcoming trick-or-treaters with sweets and smiles. Main Street will transform into a pedestrian-friendly Halloween wonderland filled with laughter, music, and spooky fun — with sponsor activations and activities set up right along Main Street throughout the event.
Event Timeline
11:30 AM | Gather at the Ann Arbor District Library for the much-anticipated Costume Parade. 12:00 PM | The parade begins at the intersection of Liberty and Fifth, led proudly by the Ann Arbor District Library, and makes its way to Main Street.
12:15 – 1:30 PM | Trick or Treating with the Ann Arbor Police Department on Main Street and participating downtown businesses — look for festive orange and black balloons to know where to stop! 1:30 – 3:00 PM | Spooktacular Activities on Main Street, including Spooky Dancing with DJ Ron Don and Whoa Silent Disco — fun for all ages!
A Celebration of Community
“We’re so excited to bring back the Trick or Treat Parade on Main Street,” said Ashley Schafer, Executive Director of the Main Street Area Association and event coordinator. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to celebrate Halloween in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment while supporting our incredible local businesses.”
Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to explore downtown Ann Arbor’s restaurants, cafés, and shops while enjoying this immersive community celebration.
