Creative Washtenaw Happy Hour (CWHH) is our easy-no-set-agenda monthly gathering for everyone working or playing in the arts + creative industries in Washtenaw County or who are Creative Washtenaw members.
The party and the conversation changes every month. It's casual and fun. Join us.
Washtenaw County-based artists, cultural and creative workers: professionals, amateurs, students and industry experts who have creative practices, own creative businesses and hold creative jobs in profit, nonprofit, educational and government entities and produce creative goods, services and programs for county residents, visitors and personal fulfilment.
The intrinsic and aesthetic values of art and creativity are determining factors of success for the fields in virtually every creative discipline including the literary, media, performing and visual arts, advertising, architecture, creative technology, design, fashion, museums, science and nature centers plus other multidisciplinary creative fields.
Individuals, organizations and businesses who place a high value on the arts + creative industries everywhere but particularly in Washtenaw County - where they live, do business or go to school, in Washtenaw County. They invest in local arts and cultural organizations and frequent their events, they value and insist on arts and creative education, they have a preference for hand-crafted goods and appreciate that 21st century businesses and their employees seek to locate and live in vibrant, authentic communities.
* or soon to become Creative Washtenaw members! Attend once, to try it out. We are pretty sure you'll want to join!
Created with permission from nonprofitAF.com, Creative Washtenaw Happy Hour is modeled after Executive Director Happy Hour (EDHH), a very successful yet nontraditional (even irreverent?) networking model working for nonprofit executive directors across the country. We hope to have CWHH capture the spirit and essence of EDHH.
