Minigrant Reviewer Application
Application – Region 9 Minigrant Reviewer
Region 9 Minigrant Reviewer Application
Thank you for your interest in applying to be a Region 9 minigrant reviewer. Grant reviewers are very important to the process. They represent their community's values and understand the arts and cultural programs that will best serve their regions. You are appreciated!
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion - Creative Washtenaw's Statement
Creative Washtenaw is committed to forever evolving and learning about diversity, equity and inclusion. That includes leaning in to listen to and acting on how its community, and Region 9, defines the intrinsic and aesthetic qualities of art and creativity be it by the cultural expert, the credentialed scholar, the journeyed or self-taught master or the astute consumer of the form.
The MCACA minigrants are for arts and culture. Reviewers must value diversity of culture and creativity. Experience in personal creative practice, work or extensive volunteer service at creative, cultural, science, nature or heritage organizations is as critical and perhaps more important than formal credentials.
The MACC Arts & Cultural Minigrants
Arts and culture includes: arts, creative, cultural, science, nature or heritage projects, programs and professionals.
Reviewers must value diversity of culture and creativity. Experience in personal creative practice, work or extensive volunteer service at creative, cultural, science, nature or heritage organizations is as critical and perhaps more important than formal credentials.
Reviewers should value the work of artists, creative workers, organizations, businesses, educational and government entities who produce and present these programs and expect them to be paid accordingly as would any other industry.

I am able to participate in one of these two review panel sessions to be held by Zoom on Aug. 23 or 24 from 8:30 to 4 p.m. on TBD.
I do not meet all three of the requirements listed above.

I am a new MACC minigrant reviewer applicant.
If you require any accommodations, please describe here. Creative Washtenaw will do its best to meet your request.

Reviewers must value diversity of culture and creativity. Experience in personal creative practice, work or extensive volunteer service at creative, cultural, science, nature or heritage organizations is highly valued. So is the cultural expert, the credentialed scholar, the journeyed or self-taught master and/or the astute consumer of the form or field.
Tell us how you will help us meet these goals.
Are you an artist, creative or cultural worker, or do you own or work at a creative/cultural for profit, nonprofit, education or government entity?
*
This is not a qualifying question. We are just curious.

Review Panels will be held by Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If this changes to an in person meeting, you will be informed well in advance.
You are asked to have the entire time available. Most often we finish much earlier.
A break in the morning, afternoon and lunch break is worked into the schedule.

Professional or Organizational Development grants – Thurs. Aug. 25, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Both dates work for me. Assign me as you need me.
Neither date works (unfortunately, you will not be able to serve this year.) Please submit your application so we can contact you next year.
