It's time to engage with your elected Michigan officials to advocate for public policy and investment in Michigan's arts + creative industries.
With the voices of artists, creative workers, organizations and businesses throughout the state, Cultural Advocacy Network of Michigan successfully advocated for increased funding and garnered an additional $2 million for the Michigan Arts and Culture Council.In 2021, the Cultural Advocacy Network helped secure an additional $1.5 million for MACC and $100,000 to engage a Poet Laureate in Michigan through the Library of Michigan. In 2020, the Cultural Advocacy Network helped secure additional resources to re-fund the essential work of the Michigan Historic Preservation Office.
