The Arts Alliance encourages life-long creative learning programs. Its vision is that all residents of Washtenaw County thrive surrounded by relevant and accessible opportunities to engage their own capacity as creators and to learn about the creative work of others in all modalities.

Arts + Creative Education Integration for Student Excellence (ACEISE)
Arts + Creative education was identified as the no. 1 priority in the Washtenaw County Cultural Master Plan by community members throughout the county.
ACEISE was undertaken to set the directive – once and for all – that every student in Washtenaw County is entitled to equitable high-quality, consistent, sequential, standards-based arts + creative education as integral to their right to a well-rounded and excellent education.
Every student means: 47,000 students in the WISD service range – nine public school districts, 12 public school academies, 16 private schools and three consortium schools.
