Nonprofit Day at the Capitol is Michigan Nonprofit Association’s annual public policy event where nonprofits from across the state come together in Lansing to discuss our legislative priorities.
At this advocacy and networking event, nonprofit leaders educate elected officials and policy makers on nonprofit issues while building awareness of the value of the nonprofit sector to our communities.
The morning program will include:
Keynote address by Donna Murray-Brown, nonprofit visionary and former MNA President & CEO
Policy insights from current and past MNA CEOs in recognition of MNA’s 35th anniversary
A session with leaders from the State Budget Office
A live Q&A with Michigan’s Legislative Caucus, providing an opportunity for nonprofits to engage directly with legislators
Following the program, attendees can network over lunch with Michigan state department and agency leaders.
