The selected films will be announced on March 1 when tickets go on sale on the AAFF website: aafilmfest.org. \nThe Ann Arbor Film Festival is the oldest avant-garde and experimental film festival in North America\, founded by George Manupelli in 1963. It presents more than $25\,000 in awards to filmmakers each year. \nAAFF is internationally recognized as a premiere forum for independent filmmakers and artists. Institutions are now deeply enmeshed in complex technological systems\, platforms\, and services across all parts of a museum’s operations and practices. Today\, the nature of collections themselves is implicated as they are increasingly ‘born digital.’ These shifts all require highly skilled labor\, new strategies\, policies\, and debate to ensure that the transformations serve the museum’s community and long-term interests. \nThis talk will explore trust\, attention\, digital memory\, ephemerality\, and the fragility of new cultural artifacts\, and conversely\, maintenance\, longevity\, and the need for bold pan-institutional and sector-wide initiatives\, new skills\, and literacies.

In 2025\, the WHI will prioritize advancing community level strategies to effectively promote integration of social service and clinical care providers to improve the health of our community. \nIn this Health and Social Service Integration Summit\, the WHI is bringing together presenters that will overview current strategies and investments that are currently being made toward better integrating health and social services in Michigan. Attendees will also have an opportunity to discuss opportunities and challenges for advancing integration efforts. \nThis will be a full day\, in-person summit. SUMMARY:Shamrocks & Shenanigans 5K Run
DESCRIPTION:A fun and festive annual event that benefits Save A Heart\, an organization that raises funds to benefit patients and their families at the Michigan Congenital Heart Center at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. \nFunds raised by Save A Heart support families with travel\, lodging and other expenses. These funds also support clinical research. In a time when more medical costs are being shifted to the patient\, one of the goals is to relieve the families’ financial burdens during a very stressful period in their lives.
